Department: Corporate Transformation Services (CTS)

Our established Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) practice focuses on enterprise wide change to particularly help drive EBITDA improvement. Our highly experienced experts successfully work with clients in strategic transformation situations, either where an activist investor is looking for accelerated results, or where a company is looking to sustainably improve their earnings and profitability goals. We also help our clients navigate complex merger integrations and carve-outs and work for corporations across several industries including Automotive, Manufacturing, Healthcare, IT, FMCG, retail and Energy. Our scope of services includes turnarounds in both consulting and interim management positions in various functions including General Management.

Purpose of the CTS Analyst role:

We are expanding our CTS practice and we are looking for an Analyst to join our highly successful team in Paris.

Supported by the European CTS team, you will assist in performance improvement initiatives, covering both short and longer term transformational delivery. You will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M; a business savvy, solution-focused business entrepreneur who is determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to use your prior professional services experience, outstanding financial background and problem solving skills to become an integral part of our successful 'hands-on' team. As a valued member of the A&M Pan-European Corporate Transformation Services team based in Paris, you will be working on high-impact pan-European projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in pitch preparation and pitches;

  • Navigate a P&L and identify trends and red flags;

  • Identify resource needs and milestones to accomplish assigned work by deadlines;

  • Demonstrate sound judgment, knows when to cross check important decisions;

  • Build lasting relationships with client management & staff, other professionals on case;

  • Build models based on financial and/or operational data and as such have excellent knowledge of Excel (to analyse the data) and PowerPoint (to present the analyses);

  • Present your work convincingly to the senior members of the A&M team as well as to a client;

  • Begin building own network of contacts/referral sources with professionals/institutions;

  • Demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and understands A&M cultural values.

Requirements for this position:


  • Education: graduation from a Tier 1 Business School (e.g. HEC, ESSEC, ESCP) or Engineer School (e.g. Polytechnique, Centrale, Mines) or another highly rated Institution;

  • Prior experience in Consulting is preferable. If not, we require experience from either within Corporate Finance or Operations;

  • Strong problem solving skills and financial background combined with deep understanding of key business and operational drivers;

  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, writing and presentation-building skills; attention to details and striving to produce zero-defect deliverables;

  • Fact-based and analytical approach, solution-focused, action-oriented, determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo; self-starter with entrepreneurial flair;

  • Ability to prioritise - especially in highly pressured situations;

  • High integrity that is characterised by the ability to deliver messages even when they are difficult to hear;

  • Excel modelling skills - structure data within Excel in a way to draw conclusions and support timely decision making with our clients;

  • Ability to quickly understand and piece together very vast or very limited amounts of data and to draw certain conclusions/actions from it;

  • Fluency in French & English (both written & spoken) is essential;

  • Ability to travel at very short notice, 4/5 days a week pan-European, most weeks.


  • Additional MSc or MBA qualifications highly desirable;

  • Preference will go to candidates with relevant work experience for a CTSAnalyst position;

  • Established customer facing/client handling skills (from any industry);

  • Autonomous & entrepreneurial- A&M is an entrepreneurial business going through high growth;

  • Additional European languages are also desirable.
