Job Summary

The Customer Communications Consultant, under moderate supervision, works collaboratively with business partners across all levels of the organization to execute and manage customer communications regarding transaction, operational and other relevant information. Through a consistent voice and effective communications, the incumbent will support the company in managing a positive customer experience in line with the company's brand and customer promise that meets legal and compliance requirements.

Job Accountabilities


  • Serve as the writer of customer-facing communications, including collaborative work with Marketing and Corporate Communications partners to support the development of related messaging for internal and external audiences.

  • Manage content and perform quality reviews to help ensure consistency and accuracy in copy.

  • Assist in the alignment of customer communications activities with internal, public relations, marketing and community relations activities for maximum effectiveness and resource allocation.

  • Interpret policies and procedures in accordance with standard banking practices and communicate complex issues and procedures to the customer in a clear and concise manner.

  • Represent the organization in a professional and positive manor both internally and externally.

Education


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Journalism, marketing, communications or business. Required

Experience


  • Less than 2 years Banking, corporate communications, marketing, journalism or public relations with strong writing experience. Required

  • 2-4 years Corporate communications, marketing, journalism or public relations. Specific experience with customer communications preferred. Background in multi-media communications development including print, video and event production helpful. Financial services experience required. Preferred

Compliance Statement

Fully complies with all applicable enterprise policies and procedures. Acts in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as outlined in training materials, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act. Responsible for reporting suspicious activity to Financial Intelligence. Responsible to report all customer complaints as prescribed and procedure violations to management or HR. Responsible to report ethical concerns as needed to Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.
