The Workforce Enablement Sr. Specialist role is focused on evolving workforce capabilities emphasizing flexibility, choice, and cross-channel integration; creating solutions to enable business needs and bringing new solutions to market. This role is an advocate for leaders and employees across the organization bringing to life flexible scheduling capabilities. This position will also lead, support, and influence cross-functional initiatives aimed at creating flexibility. To accomplish this, the Sr Specialist will need to support and influence leaders at multiple levels across the entire enterprise.
The Workforce Enablement Sr. Specialist is a key member of the Workforce Operations team. This team focuses on the strategy, design, implementation, and support of workforce and scheduling activities across channels to enable a flexible workforce for the enterprise. This employee-centric effort is in support of both customer and business outcomes. The team is responsible for developing cutting edge workforce capabilities and solutions helping position Best Buy as one of the best places to work in the US while enabling efficiency. This team is organized around three types of work: strategy, enablement, and operations & support.

Key responsibilities for this individual: Initiative Leadership
Influences and, in some cases leads, medium to large high-impact projects focused on various workforce and flexibility-related topics
Builds and maintains cross-functional relationships and coordination of work
Ensures team projects are completed on time and they achieve the desired results
Provides updates to stakeholders and leaders
Inclusive Collaboration and Communication
Leads and facilitate initiative meetings, and gathers requirements and feedback from individuals and groups through in-person, virtual, and various digital methods
Creates content to enable decision making, increase acumen, and support ongoing projects or key work streams
Anticipates areas of opportunity and proactively provide guidance on how to overcome through written communication, awareness, technology improvements, and/or leadership cascades
• Support Implementation and Execution
Self-identifies, anticipates, and resolves resistance to changing business processes and identified labor-related issues impacting employees across the organization
Gathers feedback from end users to improve processes and system or technology deployments
Partner with Workforce Operations team around training, execution, and SOP needs
Basic Requirements:
1 or more years project management or planning experience
1 or more years of cross functional project working experience
Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Virtual/Remote conferencing and Collaboration such as Microsoft Teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build strong working relationships
Preferred Requirements:
1 or more years of Retail and/or Field experience
1 or more years Leading projects and cross-functional teams
