Overview

Summary:

This is a key financial analyst role supporting the Gaisler (Sweden) and Colorado Springs sites within the Space division of Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions. This position will compare and analyze actual results of business area locations with forecasts and budgets. By gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing various financial reports and variance explanations this financial analyst position will provide business support and direction to the leadership team. This role will assist in preparing monthly / quarterly business review presentations for senior management and also participate in the consolidation of financial results across multiple ledgers and locations.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and Forecasting


• Variance and Trend Analysis


• Financial Modeling


• Financial Reporting


• Ad Hoc Analysis


• Creating Financial Presentations


• Support financial analysis of bids and proposals


• Drive internal reviews


• Business Area inventory analysis


• Monitor and challenge Business Area financial performance


• Collect and enter financial and other performance data (KPI's)

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor's Degree


• A minimum of 5 years' finance or accounting experience with a Bachelor's Degree or a minimum 3 years' experience in finance/accounting with a Master's Degree

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting


• Master's Degree


• Strong Excel and analytical skills


• Intermediate PowerPoint


• Demonstrated communication skills

Salary Range: $71,132-93,361
