IT Functional Analyst - Data Deployment ICO

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an IT Functional Analyst - Data Deployment ICO, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  The focus of this role is within the Intercompany process area.  Here, you will make an impact as you:

• Lead the global design of the data conversion objects within the Intercompany functional area


• Facilitate and lead scoping and functional conversion design and mapping workshops and activities in cooperation with local/global Process and IT Subject Matter Experts


• Drive data cleansing and data enrichment during all phases


• Drive the data validation process and support local data readiness sign off


• Resolve gaps between global data design and local requirements


• Support the Data Conversion load process for test cycles and Go Live

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Experience working cross-functionally in two (2) or more of the process streams that support ICO processes (e.g. Replenishment, Cross Company Sales Orders, Indirect Purchase, ICO Accounts Payable/Receivable, OTC, LEX, MTD, FTS, STP, RTR, or MDM)


• Three (3) years of experience working in Business Process functions and/or IT


• Two (2) years of experience working on systems implementation projects

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience using SQL to query from relational databases


• Experience in data governance, data cleansing or data validation


• Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and team collaboration skills


• Good understanding of 3M’s Global Supply Chains and COE concept


• Experience in working on global or complex implementation projects


• Experience with customer, vendor and materials management within supply chain business processes and systems

Location: Maplewood, MN or May consider remote U.S. Work Location

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
