Human Resource Specialists

Reports to: Senior Director, People Service Center

Location: Lansdale, Pennsylvania

At SKF we refer to our Human Resource personell as People Service Specialists.

The People Service Specialistwill be the first point of contact supporting our newly developed People Service Center for employee and manager inquiries. This role will also promote employee and manager self-service while identifying opportunities for automation. People Service Specialists perform procedural documentation reviews, identify gaps in Human Resources processes and provide solutions, participate in data analysis, and collaborate with team members on innovative strategies for efficient operations and optimal service delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Under minimal supervision, responds to employee or manager inquiries in accordance with standard operating procedures


• Investigates inquiries and requests requiring deviation from standard resolutions within the knowledge base

• Liaises with either Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, People Experts orPeople Business Enablerswhen necessary, and escalates when appropriate


• Maintains detailed and current knowledge of SKF's HR policies and procedures


• Identifies escalation trends and opportunities for accomplishing new and different requests


• Creates, monitors, and closes out tickets / inquiries in the case management tool


• Assess and identify process gaps and collaborate with People Servicestomitigate gaps and implement process efficiencies

• Work closely with the HR Systems to collect and coordinate aggregate data for analyzing trends and automating processes


• Other HR administrative duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Strong issue resolution and customer service skills


• Thorough understanding of employee life cyclehireto retire and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training


• Associate/Bachelordegree preferred


• 3+Years experiencein HR or Shared Services operations; experience spanning multiple HR areas desirable


• Knowledge of Case Management systems, Issue Resolutions, and processing of transactions in HCM, HRIS or HRMS

• Experience with SAP Success Factors, Ceridian, Dayforce People Doc is preferred


• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
