SUMMARY

The position serves as the primary liaison between customers and medication.  A front-line employee that continually interacts with patients.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers, answer phones, pharmacy computer system input and administration, receiving payment from customers, counting money, prescriptions filling, coordinate prescription delivery.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Medication stocking, medication location audit.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Outstanding customer service and friendly demeanor required. Ability to answer phones, work on the computer, interact with the customer, and coordinate patient questions.  Great organizational skills are required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.  Some bending and lifting.  Proficient typing and data entry skills a must.

• Previous patient coordination experience preferred. 


• Must have great customer service skills. 


• Professional phone etiquette of paramount importance.
