The inpatient pharmacy serves the entire hospital and the Pharmacy Assistant Manager will join a remarkable team of Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who focus on patient-centered care. The Inpatient Pharmacy Assistant Manager will report up to the Pharmacy Manager and offer support in managing the day-to-day pharmacy operations, scheduling, and purchasing. The  Assistant Manager will also oversee multiple Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to ensure they are providing optimal patient service and performing their daily duties within the hospital. This person will also collaborate with Physicians and Nurses to ensure patients are receiving correct medication and dosages.

The Inpatient Pharmacy Assistant Manager will focus on performing both clinical and administrative duties within the pharmacy. The Assistant Manager will ensure the pharmacy maintains and complies with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. In collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager and/ or Director, the Assistant Manager will oversee the department in maintaining the fiscal budget, quality assurance, and billing and collections. The Assistant Manager may also advise physicians on medication utilization and communicate with other healthcare professionals to provide smooth circulation of patient medication.
