Overview
Applications are being accepted for a part-time Financial Aid Imaging Aide, Fond du Lac Campus. This position will provide administrative support to Financial Aid staff, process financial aid documents received, capture electronic images, prepare material for scanning, and verify electronic image files.
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled; however, initial review of applicants will take place August 17, 2021.
Beginning: Immediately
Responsibilities1. Serve as customer service representative for department. Provide timely customer service to students and staff via phone, email or in person connection. Serve as the primary documents received staff member for Financial Aid. Receive and process incoming mail in ERP. 2. Review Financial Aid documents for completeness and accuracy and follows up with students as needed. 3. Provide information to students regarding financial aid program requirements.4. Prepare documents for scanning and set up, adjust, and operate electronic imaging and media equipment. Scan, index, and retrieve files.5. Conduct document validation in preparation for documents to be imaged to ensure they are ready for the imaging process.6. Provide back-up to the Financial Aid Representative as needed.7. Provide assistance to the Financial Aid Specialists in daily tasks to ensure timely completion in assessment of files.8. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications1. Associates Degree in a related field.2. Two years of related experience. Financial Aid experience preferred.3. Any combination of equivalent training and experience which provides desired knowledge, skills and abilities. 4. Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures, terminology and equipment.5. Demonstrated ability to use computer applications to include MS Office and an ERP system. 6. Knowledge of document scanning and preparation tasks.7. Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.8. Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to establish effective working relationships and communicate with all levels of staff, students, and the general public.9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.
