Job Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for driving accuracy and consistency of credit output, providing ongoing support and identifying training needs and opportunities to other credit analysts.

  • Review credit memos prepared by credit analysts for appropriateness and correct application of credit concepts and the Bank's loan policy.

  • Manage workflow of the department through the thoughtful assignment of loans for analysis, remaining cognizant of deadlines and employee training needs.

  • May serve as lead analyst for complex credit and analysis requests.

  • Review and analyze credit, personal and business financial statements, personal and business tax returns, business formation documents, industry studies and other applicable information.

  • Interact with lenders and request additional documentation as needed.

  • Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, policies and procedures

  • Spread financial information and complete financial analyses for current and prospective borrowers.

  • Produce accurate and timely loan presentations, clearly documenting financial results, repayment sources, collateral, strengths and weaknesses, and risks.

  • High-level credit analysis including but not limited to portfolios and consumer/commercial loans.

  • Articulate ability to coach and mentor Credit Analyst Is and IIs as-needed.

  • Know and comply with all Company policies set forth on the Company's Intranet;

  • Review Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually, as prescribed by Human Capital;

  • Complete and Comply with the Companies Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgement;

  • Complete all assigned training on time.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree: Business or related subject area required

  • Master's Degree: Business or related subject area preferred


  • 7-10 years credit analysis with high-risk decision making skills, experience building and maintaining financial models required

  • 1-3 years experience leading team of analysts and reviewing their day-to-day work, developing efficient performance required

  • Excellent proficiency on computers in general and in using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Team oriented, experience working with confidential information

  • Ability to research and interpret financial information, aptitude in analyzing financial details, strong problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
