Job Summary

Works with assigned internal and external Owens & Minor partners to ensure the accurate interpretation and maintenance of national Group Purchasing Organization agreements and individual hospital/Integrated Delivery Network cost contracts. Assists in the resolution of contract and rebate issues upon analyzing contract information. Assists with maintaining the expiring contracts database

Core Responsibilities


  • Responsible for ensuring that Regional, Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) or Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) agreements and/or Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) contracts are correctly loaded into OMNI/2 contracts administration database and retained according to audit/compliance policies.

  • Works proactively to review expiring contracts ; reports and requests renewals from vendor or manufacturing representatives. Requests approval for contract amendments/extensions.

  • Responds to inquiries from vendors, buy groups (IDN, GPO, etc.) and various corporate departments regarding contract specifications and related issues.

  • Assists the Rebate team in researching and resolving rebate discrepancies between rebate credits and claims.

  • Processes exclusions requested by Rebate, Sales or other teams.

  • Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules

Qualifying Experience


  • High School Diploma required

  • One or more years of experience with using reporting databases to query and format data preferred  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work with MS Excel at an intermediate level

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to prioritize activity and work independently in a high volume environment
