  • Onyx Launch, a leader in productionizing new applications and shared platform technology
  • Payment & Banking Platforms , embedded payment and banking capabilities to power financial institutions and corporates

The Product Lead - Onboarding will be responsible for leading onboarding for the Payments & Banking Platforms capability. This leader will partner closely with Product, Risk, Control, Operations, Design, Engineering and other stakeholders to bring a best in class onboarding experience to market along with driving first time engagement and value.

  • Proven ability to take a product from conception to successful market adoption, specifically in the Small Business space.
  • Strong understanding of KYC, Risk and Controls aspect of Onboarding with regards to Small Business.
  • Strong design and client focus to build product experience with the end to end client journey in mind.
  • Technical aptitude to allow for strong partnership on API first approach.
  • Identify priorities and manage multiple workstreams coordinating activities across departments.
  • Identify creative and timely solutions to key program challenges while motivating the project teams to complete critical tasks.
  • Ensure all risk management, legal, control, and compliance activities are done in line with JPMC standards in advance of product launch
  • Track project progress and report effectively on status, blockers and changes. Accountable for creating, maintaining and communicating schedules, scorecards and plans.
  • Track resourcing of projects and drive resource balancing between different program priorities.
  • Manage, analyze, track and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies as well as chair regular review meetings.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business, Technology and functional partners.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Product development / delivery client engagement, business/corporate development, or strategy leadership experience within the financial services industry. Platform/network business experience a strong plus.
  • 5+ years in a delivery capacity across a highly complex and globally distributed operating environment.
  • 5+ years' experience with financial technology in a commercial setting.
  • 3+ years with Payments/Banking products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed program delivery structure
  • Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive growth metrics and client/partner development objectives, specifically for emerging businesses versus mature financial services products
  • Track record of building and managing high performance business development teams on a global basis.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging financial services technologies with a key emphasis on APIs, private labeling, SaaS models, and design thinking practices.
  • Understanding of the global payments industry.
  • Participation or management of a new business or product launch in a large organization or experience at a startup a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
  • BA or BS required. MBA preferred.
  • Global travel required.
