Position Description:

AMETEK, Inc. Specialty Metal Products is seeking a safety conscious, individual with a desire to work in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience is preferred, but extensive training is provided!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Has the ability to set up and operate all rolling mills in the department.

2. Selects appropriate rolls and is able to produce required shape and finish for products rolled in the department.

3. Performs quality checks to ensure product meets internal and customer specifications using various measuring devices.

4. Completes all required paperwork.

5. Performs training for other operators, as needed.

6. Performs all safety and quality checks on the equipment and perform required preventive maintenance and other maintenance as assigned.

7. Must be able to perform multiple functions on a daily basis.

8. Must be available to work overtime as needed.

9. Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

Position Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Mechanical Skills and Aptitude
3. Prior rolling mill operator experience preferred.
