Job Description:

ScottMadden, Inc. is seeking experienced consultants in Finance and Accounting to join our Corporate & Shared Services team. Experienced consultants will be placed at the level that matches the experience and competencies of their ScottMadden peers. Experienced Finance and Accounting Services consultants are expected to have the leadership, project management, and client relationship skills necessary to successfully direct and manage a variety of project types and sizes.

Promotions occur on a quarterly basis and are paced to each individual’s progress. Bonuses are earned quarterly based on the objective measure of utilization.

Skills

An ideal candidate possesses the following skills:

• Practical understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, fixed assets, tax, treasury, and financial planning and analysis, and supporting technologies


• Knowledge of leading practice Finance and Accounting solutions, shared service and global business service delivery models, processes, technologies, and organizational structures


• Experience in assessing, designing, implementing, and improving Finance and Accounting delivery models


• Experience in overseeing/delivering technology implementations and digital transformations including strategy and business case, requirements gathering, vendor selection, testing, training, and deployment


• Strong project and resource management skills


• Relevant experience in creating project deliverables

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree
  
  
  • Minimum three years of Finance and Accounting consulting experience
