Summary of Role:

Supports the development, execution and measurement of the Association’s global B2B marketing, proposition and experience. Collaborates cross-functionally across internal and external teams, portfolio initiatives and channels.

The role manages marketing strategies and go-to market plans for B2B acquisition and retention, products, and services, and supports the development of innovative digital capabilities and new channels. These strategies include market penetration, new market entry, new product launches, ecosystem relationships and enhanced customer experience across the Association’s B2B channels.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:


  • Manages global B2B marketing initiatives in support of P&L goals, revenue targets, marketing spend, and return on investment.

  • Manages key planning, implementation and reporting activities related to multi-channel B2B marketing programs (acquisition and retention) for the Association’s products (PQ, PCG, Conferences). These include direct mail, email marketing automation, digital and web site merchandising optimization.

  • Partners with B2B team members, Sales, Product Owners, Channel groups, Product Development, Conference and external partner teams on B2B 4P strategy and implementation.

  • Responsible for project management and marketing initiative calendar management, in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, service providers and internal/external creative agencies.

  • Scans, collects, shares and leverages market, customer and competitor trends, including performing research to inform value propositions, product development ideas and customer journeys.

  • Develops and manages content marketing and thought leadership themes, approaches and assets to build our reputation, reinforce positioning and inform campaigns.

Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Through internal and external partnerships, no direct reports

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with all stakeholders

  • Proven experience owning and managing multiple projects and tasks as well as the ability to prioritise work based on the business needs

  • Detail and results-oriented

  • Sound understanding of key trends and areas of innovation which influence the way we interact and engage with our external customers, internal stakeholders and audiences (digital marketing, new technology, Marketing Automation, CRM, agile working practices, data and analytical tools)

  • Awareness of the commercial and technical side of a business

  • Able to work autonomously and proactively

  • Critical thinker with the ability to analyse trends, data and information and translate them into customer-centric insights

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • B2C, B2B2C marketing experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years marketing experience including digital marketing and channel development, marketing strategy and performance tracking

  • Experience working with different stakeholders at all levels

  • Global marketing and team experience

  • Experience developing marketing strategies to support organisational objectives

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education:


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

  • Marketing experience in education, learning and development, membership schemes or commercial sector
