Remote Senior Silicon Photonics Project Lead

Job Description:

The Large-Scale Integrated Photonics Laboratory at Hewlett Packard Labs has an immediate opening for a qualified senior engineer with experience in photonics (in particular, silicon photonics) and product development.   This role will be responsible for developing products based on HPE’s portfolio of photonics technologies.  This role will lead a team of experienced technologist developing photonic technologies into products for use in High Performance Computing applications. A strong technical background is required for this role. Previous experience with product or project management is preferred.  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
1.    A PhD in Engineering, Physics, Photonics or equivalent
2.    Familiarity with photonics technology and product development
3.    Strong communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in the photonic industry 
Product or project management experience
Experience with supply chain management especially packaging
