Job Summary



Reporting to the Digital Sales Director (DSD), the Digital Sales Strategist serves as a client-facing digital marketing expert. Focusing on enhancing CMG's credibility with clients by helping them understand our expert capabilities to handle their digital marketing needs using the digital resources available from CMG Digital (CMG'd). This role is responsible for providing expertise across multiple platforms of digital marketing. It can align digital solutions to the client's overall media strategy. This role will work with various groups (i.e., Ad Ops, Media Consultants, and clients) to effectively manage and maximize digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Advise clients on their digital marketing strategy by leveraging product expertise to increase product utilization and total adoption level of products.
* Advise and offer digital marketing solutions, which may include, but are not limited to, identifying opportunities for improvements and creating new components within digital marketing platforms.
* Collaborate and coordinate efforts with the Ad Ops team, CMG'd, and Media Consultants (MCs), to ensure the relevant knowledge and resources to solve complex client issues.
* Focus on retention and product growth within their portfolio of clients, utilizing CMG's suite of products to ensure maximum customer value and satisfaction.
* Proactively gather, analyze, and synthesize client and CMG's data across all areas of the client's business, highlighting client performance against agreed-upon performance metrics and industry KPIs.
* Serve as a strategic resource to the sales team with critical insights to leverage performance recommendations during client conversations and face-to-face meetings.
* Works with the Ad Ops team to ensure they have all information needed to enter every digital order into the system accurately.
* Consistently follow-up with the MCs and clients on the effectiveness of their respective digital campaigns.
* Communicate promptly with MCs and clients when the Ad Ops team recommends adjustments needed to optimize campaign fulfillment.
* Other duties as assigned.






What we look for


* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience required.
* (3) to (5) years' experience in media sales and digital marketing/advertising required.
* 3+ years of experience in processing and executing complex orders in any setting required.
* Digital advertising operations experience preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
* Proven ability to create long-term client relationships and positive customer experience required.
* Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver results against a work plan in a fast-paced environment, giving attention to detail even under high-pressure situations.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to successfully coach others.
* Ability to proactively identify and diagnose business needs and deliver custom client solutions that differentiate CMG from competitors.
* Must be a team player with a positive "Whatever it Takes" attitude.
* A proactive, self-motivated player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and make recommendations.
* Forward-thinking and has a continuous process improvement mindset; highly effective decision-- making and judgment.
