At Agilent, in this PM role, you will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive integrated customer solution by translating broad concepts into a structured program, leading the design/delivery of multi-national projects, delivering solutions for sophisticated, high impact issues, and building strong client relationships.

This role will focus on project management of the Intelligent Scheduling Model Rollout Program. Over time additional projects may be added, growing the scope of this role.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leading the direct oversight of one or more projects and serving as a direct liaison between project team members and partners


• Driving and delivering expected results according to agreed project scope, cost, quality and timeline landmarks


• Analyzing, planning and tracking project phases and activities


• Communicating timelines/achievements/goals/status on a regular basis


• Identifying and sharing risks/issues to key partners


• Application of risk management techniques to ensure business priorities and quality standards are met


• Collaboratively re-evaluating goals throughout the project and making necessary adjustments to project plans and budgets, including scope


• Establishing and maintaining project lifecycle documentation


• Coordinating with third party vendors as required to complete the project activities


• Crafting and managing resource forecast plans, and working directly with managers to communicate and agree to project staffing requirements


• Tracking estimated project revenues, costs, expenses and profits against defined metrics; proactively communicating deviations to relevant partners

The salary range for this position may differ based on your actual work location. For CO, the salary range is $96,691 - $151,080.

Qualifications

You will need to be educated to at least degree level (holding post-graduate study/certification/license strongly preferred) and have at least 8+ years' practical experience, 5 years of which will be meaningful experience through which you've developed the ability to fully understand customer needs and the technical ability to fulfill them.

• Bachelors, Masters or other university degree in Science, Business, Project Management or similar is strongly preferred; PMP certification a plus


• Experience with and understanding of the biological sciences strongly preferred


• Deep understanding and application of Project Management principles, concepts, practices, and standards


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities in accordance with business and team needs


• Ability to engage with technical teams to ensure sound and effective solutions to address development challenges


• Experience with oversight of project scope while ensuring successful execution of project details; may require guidance for determining solutions in very complex situations


• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels in a matrixed team environment


• Exceptional interpersonal, writing and presentation skills


• Strong eye for business, facilitation/delegation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within the organization


• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision


• Expertise with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and remote meeting tools such as WebEx, Live Meeting, etc.
