YOUR ROLE As a Quality Technician, you will:


  • Executes the operational plan of an engineering task based on engineering designs and work specifications
  • Works closely with external contractors and ensures the quality of delivered services and products
  • Sets up or adjusts complex equipment according to manufacturing specifications Identifies and implements opportunities of process optimization
  • Demonstrated proficiency at routine mathematics, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Experience with basic tool manipulation including mixing equipment, lab glassware, testing machines, and other standard lab tools.
  • Previous laboratory experience in a business setting desired.
  • Solid computer skills to manipulate and graph data and report experimental work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work on multiple projects.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

YOUR SKILLS

  • High School graduate and two years of college chemistry or related science courses.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lab Technician in a business setting is highly desired.
  • Be available for rotating or designed shifts.
  • Able to work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, and equipment
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
