POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a versatile Senior Financial Analyst who is excited to join a fast-growing subsidiary of Epiq. We’re looking for someone who is a team player, a self-starter, a great communicator and who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the accurate reporting of revenue in the company’s accounting system, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations and performing internal controls,


• Ensure all revenue allocations/adjustments are communicated to relevant stakeholders to facilitate in their accurate forecasting of revenues,


• Preparation of deliverables for internal or external audit as needed, and


• Identify and implement process improvements.
  
   

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete special projects and other similar accounting duties as assigned by Manager, Revenue Recognition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

• Knowledge of internal and process-related controls,


• Ability to organize, meet strict deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team,

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation),


• Ability to thrive in a fast paced business environment, and


• Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BS /BA in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred,


• Experience with revenue recognition accounting


• CPA firm experience is a plus, and


• Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office products required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Typical work week is 40+ hours with overtime as required to meet business requirements and deadlines.#LI-RC1
