YOUR ROLE
As a Quality Technician, you will:
Executes the operational plan of an engineering task based on engineering designs and work specifications
Works closely with external contractors and ensures the quality of delivered services and products
Sets up or adjusts complex equipment according to manufacturing specifications Identifies and implements opportunities of process optimization
Demonstrated proficiency at routine mathematics, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Experience with basic tool manipulation including mixing equipment, lab glassware, testing machines, and other standard lab tools.
Previous laboratory experience in a business setting desired.
Solid computer skills to manipulate and graph data and report experimental work.
Ability to work in a team environment and work on multiple projects.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
YOUR SKILLS
High School graduate and two years of college chemistry or related science courses.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lab Technician in a business setting is highly desired.
Be available for rotating or designed shifts.
Able to work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, and equipment
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
