Job Description:


Works directly with Manager to develop and establish departmental standards and practices. Directs activities among team to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements. Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements. Coordinates production activities with other functions such as material, new product development, customer service, manufacturing engineering, etc. Generally assigned to the more complex production operation projects with greater independent authority and broader spans of control in terms of functions directed, value of resources controlled, and operational difficulties.


  • Project lead for all new ventures/capability onboarding to include managing new equipment, materials, suppliers, and customers.
  • Responsible for the development and refinement of all new and existing work to continuously improve quality, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market growth.
  • Lead quality and service recovery consultant and oversight for workmanship standards and practices.
  • Project lead for more complex production operation projects with greater independent authority and broader spans of control in terms of functions directed, value of resources controlled, and operational difficulties.
  • Directs activities among team to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
  • Maintains a variety of reports, records, and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, and the like.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Experience in print operations, print production processes, and print manufacturing equipment, preferred
