Job Description:

The main purpose of this role is to execute upon the daily operational call strategies and manage a team of call center agents.


  • Assists Call Center leadership in training and motivating staff, directing the completion and flow of Call Center work and ensuring a consistently high level of service.

  • Check appointment availability and ensure agents schedule patients accordingly and assist with appointment cancellations.

  • Ensures the Call Center staff answer daily incoming calls effectively and efficiently by effectively monitoring the Call Center phone queue and keeping Supervisor informed of any staffing challenges.

  • Stay current with all applicable policies and procedures.

  • Ensure daily processes are accurately completed in a timely manner

  • Answer, screen and triage a high volume of incoming calls, verify eligibility, schedule patients according to their insurance and assigned provider.

  • Provide prompt and courteous telephone assistance to callers.

  • Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information

  • Position is remote in Tennessee.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a call center leadership role

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable talking with elderly patients

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
