THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a Corporate and Real Estate Associate with 3 - 5 years of commercial real estate and commercial finance experience to work in our Boston office.


This is a hybrid role that will perform both Corporate and Real Estate work with one of the largest real estate practices in the United States. Seyfarth's national real estate group of more than 130 attorneys has helped clients close some of the most notable transactions over the last several years, and is recognized for bringing creative structures to sophisticated commercial real estate and finance matters and helping our clients achieve their goals


THE DAY-TO-DAY:
As an associate performing real estate acquisition and finance work in the firm's Corporate practice, you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking legal projects in collaboration with our senior Corporate and Real Estate attorneys.


You will manage smaller transactions, and bear independent responsibility for major documentation and components of larger transactions. You'll have substantive client contact as well as significant involvement in case strategy and management, and the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior associates.


YOU HAVE:


  • Transactional experience with real estate and commercial finance transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures

  • Debt and equity capital markets experience focused on the real estate industry

  • Leasing and other general transaction experience

  • Excellent academic credentials

  • Analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills

  • Massachusetts State Bar admission
