Who we are looking for:

Our diverse workforce is looking for a detail-oriented teammate with a talent for negotiation, contract design, and outstanding communications skills. Some critical duties include understanding client business pains or operational goals and working with SAS consultants to enable the best SAS solutions by translating them into contractual statements of work, designing GSA contract language, and identifying advantageous contract financials.

Essential Requirements:

    Minimum of 4 years of contract / statement of work design or delivery experience (project management or management consulting).
  • Prepares and delivers critical communications and negotiations skills with both internal and external stakeholders to design, build, and enable delivery for a customer engagement.

  • Ability to lead client-facing meetings to collect, analyze, clarify, and document business requirements and translate client needs into services to produce a detailed solution proposal.

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field. Relevant military background and technical experience strongly considered in lieu of traditional degree programs.

  • U.S. citizen able to obtain DHS Public Trust security clearance.

  • Work location is in Washington, DC.

  • Travel requirements are approximately 10% or as business requirements dictate at management discretion.

  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.


    • Ability to manage a portfolio of services team consulting opportunities and report out on associated portfolio metrics.

    • Ability to communicate among people of varying technical and business backgrounds, including the ability to explain difficult technical concepts in simple terms to business users.

    • Leads and contributes to RFX submissions as they relate to services offerings, SAS solution capabilities, and domain expertise.


  • Ability to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of core SAS offerings.

    • Develops strategic direction from market information and creates compelling proposals that effectively differentiate SAS from our competitors.

  • Identifies opportunities for business and services expansion, and develops and manages relationships in strategic markets and accounts that accelerate business development and SAS offerings to stay competitive

  • Ability to execute against a general set of objectives creatively and in a self-directed manner.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.

  • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.

  • Microsoft Office skills.

Preferences

  • Previous Federal government experience involving project management, management consulting, and/or contracts management.
