Job Description:

The Manager, Enterprise Risk and Compliance Monitoring will support the continuous monitoring program for the second line of defense and provide oversight of risk and compliance monitoring activities across Equifax’s first line of defense, or Business Units (BUs)/Centers of Excellence (COEs), through measurement, monitoring and reporting. This position will be directly responsible for the execution of the risk-based monitoring plan for the Enterprise Risk and Compliance (ERC) organization.

What You’ll Do


  • Execute and maintain a risk-based monitoring inventory and schedule, informed by priorities resulting from ERC’s annual risk assessment.

  • Collaborate with the BU/COE teams to evaluate the risk and control landscape and enhance monitoring plans across key business processes.

  • Work with the ERC Monitoring Program Manager and Technology Leaders to translate monitoring plan enhancements into automated dashboards to support continuous monitoring.

  • Evaluate key risk and key performance indicator (KRI/KPI) performance to identify trends, anomalies or deviations from risk tolerances.

  • Partner closely with BU/COE teams to ensure issues are identified, remediated, and escalated.

  • Facilitate the review, update, and creation of policies, standards and procedures.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or analytical and/or technology based discipline, e.g. Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.

  • 4+ years of experience within risk assurance functions, i.e. risk management, compliance, security, etc.

  • Knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations, specifically FCRA, FACTA, GLBA, UDAAP/UDAP, Dodd-Frank and state equivalents. 

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative reasoning skills, with exceptional ability to collect and rationalize large data sets, validate facts and draw conclusions.

  • Proficiency with data visualization software, such as Tableau, PowerBI, Data Studio, etc.

  • Applied understanding of process improvement and change management methodologies.

Extra Points for any of the Following


  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or analytical and/or technology based discipline.

  • Relevant certification(s) in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance or Internal Audit (e.g. Certification in Risk Management Assurance® (CRMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (CERM), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), etc.) 

  • Previous utilization of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms.

  • Certification in Six Sigma, e.g. Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.

  • Experienced in root cause analysis methodologies.
