The Systems Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a Clarity PPM super user to help evolve our use of the platform.
The Clarity PPM Systems Business Analyst is a Clarity super user with strong business analysis skills. The key areas of focus for this position are:
Assessment, coordination, delivery, and implementation of enhancements to the Clarity PPM platform
Stakeholder engagement to identify technical changes and process improvements to maximize the management of projects and financials in the application
User community support via training materials, ad hoc knowledge transfer and hosting a community of practice
Strong communication and collaboration skills are critical to successful collaboration across all levels of the user community and management. This is a visible position with an opportunity to make a big impact.
Responsibilities include:
Analysis / Clarity PPM Design
Collaborate with business users to define requirements and translate them into Clarity configurations (portlets, custom screen development, reports, etc.)
Work with users and technical teams to document requirements related to integrating Clarity with other applications or products (PeopleSoft, JIRA, etc.)
Conduct Clarity PPM product and configuration demos with the users to obtain input regarding usability and design
Prepare Clarity PPM user guides and training videos to support roll out and adoption of new features
Provide training and coaching to users on Clarity PPM functionality
Prepare communications and product announcements to educate users on Clarity PPM enhancements, changes, and best practices
Project Management
Coordinate and track project deliverables, attend and participate in project meetings and workshops, provide status updates on assignments/deliverables
Ensure adherence to project methodology
Identify, track, and resolve issues identified by the business or technical team members
Interact with Clarity operations and support teams to resolve issues related implementation and performance
Communication and Partnerships
Key Clarity PPM interface with both internal and external stakeholders
Act as liaison between user community and technical teams
Communicate critical issues and risks to key stakeholders and management
Qualifications include:
Extensive experience with Clarity PPM as a user and/or analyst with strong working knowledge of Clarity PPM Resource Management, Finance Management and Time Management
Business analysis experience with a demonstrated ability to analyze current Clarity PPM workflows and identify opportunities for improvement
Comprehensive understanding of Project and Portfolio Management life cycle and data model of Clarity PPM
Experience in implementing Clarity as a product for customer needs and provide effective consultancy services is desirable
Prior working experience in Clarity Studio components like objects, portlets, processes, and lookup is desirable
BA/BS Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or Engineering; advance degree desirable
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technology projects, functions and people management with increasing levels of responsibility.
Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
Strong written and oral communications skills
