Responsibilities

Draper is conducting a nation-wide search for a highly innovative and experienced individual to lead our Advanced PNT Instrumentation Group. The successful candidate will lead an organization tasked with exciting development activities for one-of-a-kind applications. Responsibilities will include business area development, proposal generation and technical project management, in addition to basic group leader functions including hiring and staff development. Group activities range from analysis of novel PNT technologies, to PNT instrument/system concept definition and design, system engineering, build and integration management, characterization and test.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Ph.D. or M.Sc. degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, PNT, Optics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent. 10+ years of experience desired.
  • The candidate's background should include instances of technical leadership and design responsibility on fielded or prototyped sensor instrumentation.

  • The applicant should be an expert system design engineer, with specific strengths in PNT-technology proposal development.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.


  • Must be willing to travel.
