Sr. Project & Planning Specialist

Job Description Summary

This position will report to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) Valuation & Advisory Services, Americas, and assist the CGO in administering, coordinating and executing projects and initiatives across the business. In particular, this position will be responsible for supporting the CGO and the Advisory Board with project coordination to bring about revenue growth and improving operational efficiencies. This role will also support leaders in the service line with initiatives as determined by the President Valuation & Advisory Services, Americas and the CGO.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for the following:

Work co-ordination and Administration


  • Facilitate collaboration between corporate partners and V&A business to execute specific initiatives.

  • Complete administrative tasks such as travel planning, expense submission, meeting coordination and other tasks as assigned by the CGO

  • Assist with communication and creating presentations.

Projects and Initiatives


  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.

  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.

  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.

  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.

  • Facilitate project planning and execution sessions and ensure deliverables are captured and participants are held accountable to delivery.

  • Coordinating staff and internal resources.

  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines.

  • Managing relationships with stakeholders.

  • Manage project structures such as RAID logs, project budgets etc.

  • Optimizing and improving operational processes.

  • Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects as directed by the CGO.

  • Research competitors and possible acquisition targets as required.

Data analytics and reporting


  • Analyze intermediate data sets to assist with decision making and project delivery.

  • Understand V&A data structure and data sources.

  • Build reports to enable decision making.

Grow skillsets

  • Grow skills in applicable technologies as determined by GCO and needed to fulfill this role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline or equivalent experience

Previous Experience:


  • 5+ years' experience in an administrative role

  • 5+ years' experience coordinating initiatives on behalf of executives

  • Prior experience of functions in C&W and the ability to mobilize functions strongly preferred

  • Real estate or professional services experience preferred

  • Experience in data analytics
