At GXO, we look for employees who take pride in their work and show dedication to their job. As the Director, Contingent Workforce, you will be accountable for the day to day operational support of program processes and vendor partnerships in support of GXO's contingent workforce requirements.

What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Accountable for daily operations and support of hiring managers and suppliers in the procurement of contingent workforce talent

  • Leads the contingent workforce program strategy. Ensures strategy incorporates and is aligned with GXO's vendor management system (Fieldglass) and capable to function effectively as a consistent solution, including systems integration, training delivery and content.

  • Develop and execute risk mitigation & change control processes and communicate status within business partner organizations.

  • Influence at all levels within the organization to ensure program usage is effective and support operations.

  • Implement processes to manage vendor engagement and contingent worker performance.

  • Provide leadership, direction, instruction and assistance to assigned staff. Set performance targets for staff and continually provide feedback regarding actual performance in comparison to targets.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 7 years of experience in contingent workforce programs or contingent workforce vendor management (high volume programs)

  • Demonstrated leadership of high performing program team

  • Excellent communication skills to partner and deal effectively and influence individuals and groups within and outside the organization

  • Experience with vendor management systems, usage and management


It'd be great if you also have:

  • CCWP

  • 6 years of experience in contingent workforce programs or contingent workforce vendor management
