Oracle Data Management Analyst, will be responsible for supporting a community of Business users for Master Data Management including creation & update of Items and it's attributes through Agile PLM (ECO & MCO), Bill of Materials, suppliers, customers etc. on a worldwide Oracle R12 platform.
The success will depend on maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners to ensure the best use of technology to facilitate their business processes. This position requires an analytical mindset, accuracy and creative problem solving skills
Responsibilities :
Sound knowledge of Oracle EBS Suite (SCM), Multi-Org Structure, Items, Supplier, Agile PLM and SCMNet
Responsible for creating and updating item and it's attributes
Maintain item Templates, Item Inventory Categories and Item Cross Reference based upon business requirements and user specification
Responsible for creating and updating the supplier master data, sites, addresses, contacts and banking details
Responsible for processing ECO and MCO in Agile PLM through SCMNet
Upload mass data using Data Loader
Responsible for understanding the current process, identify and deliver service improvement
Specifications and documenting process of varying complexity following the predefined standards and best practices
Prepare SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for new and existing solutions
Anticipate and remediate problems spanning the full range of Oracle EBS applications and their integration points under Data Management process
Manage internal users' support requests
Test or lead testing initiatives in connection with the rollout of new solutions which are part of Data Management process
Coordinate process improvements with business; gather and document functional/technical requirements
Assist in the implementation of new Oracle EBS Suite and Oracle-based solutions
Develop test plans and manage user testing for system changes
Guide/coach other team members in delivering the solution
Degree in computer science or equivalent with 6+ years of experience as a systems/application/business analyst - Data Management
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Master/Org item creation, Item attribute, Item Category, Org-Assignment, Supplier Master, Approved Supplier List(ASL), Quotations using Agile PLM & Oracle EBS R12.
Must have experience in PL/SQL programming and running queries
Should have good knowledge of MS Excel tool and Data Loader
Experience with Oracle Navigation and accessing Oracle forms
Must have excellent communication skill
Must be self driven and a pro-active team member.
Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver
Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
Must be a team player and able to interact well with all users, peers and executive management
