Job Description:

Starting Rate: $15.43 an hour for day shift with a .30 an hour shift differential for night shift.

Work Hours: This is a 12 hour rotating shift schedule.

Location: We have 3 locations in Harrisonburg: North Plant at 2347 Kratzer Road; South Plant at 1025 Willow Springs Road; and Distribution Center at 1433 Pleasant Valley Road. This job is for our North Plant or South Plant location.

As a Production Associate, you will operate robots and stackers that collect sections of books coming off a printing press, straps the sections together, and places them on a pallet. You'll enter information about the books coming off the press into a computer, print labels, and place on the pallet.

Production Associates also perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.

Qualifications:

• Ability and desire to learn and work with others in a teamwork environment
• Experience operating production equipment OR trade school experience OR steady work history with the desire to learn
• Must have ability to achieve forklift certification through in house training
• Job requires ability to lift and carry 20 to 50 pounds at times
• Standing for extended periods of time
