Job Description:

We have an immediate opening position for aSoftware Development Engineer in our San Jose office. The candidate is responsible for design and development of SAN Switching products and ofBrocade Support Link products. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving escalation issues reported on the products.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product management and system architects to design and implement software for SAN Switching products and an agent that collects telemetry/diagnostic data.


• Rapid development to customer needs.


• Involves sustaining and documentation.


• Setup and maintenance of test equipment in the lab.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.


• Strong experience and knowledge of Linux Device driver, Linux applications, Inter-process communication (IPC) development and debugging.


• Good development experience and knowledge to one or more of: Golang, Python, REST APIs, SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, YAML.


• Good knowledge of SCSI, Fibre Channel (FC), and NVMe protocols is a plus


• Familiar with Software Life Cycle and outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills


• Strong interpersonal skills and team working capabilities


• BS/MS in EE or CS
