ServiceNow Developer (IT Software Developer)
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for developing, configurating, and supporting FSI's ServiceNow environment. The ServiceNow Developer will work in a team setting on various projects and take the customer's requirements/stories and build them on the ServiceNow platform. This individual understands various ServiceNow Products (ITSM, ITAM, CSM, etc.)
TASKS ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform general day-to-day development, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform
Work directly with end users to resolve support issues and fulfill requests within ServiceNow
Collaborate with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business and operational requirements and systems goals
Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
Coordinate application and platform upgrades.
Configure and maintain SLA, catalog items and their associated workflows.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
3+ years working on the ServiceNow platform
6+ years developer experience using modern web development (XML, HTML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Services, etc.)
ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Experience with API integration and how to troubleshoot API issues.
Experience with ServiceNow application development including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, Discovery, Asset and Service Request Fulfillment
Experience implementing secure coding practices as part of the sSDLC
Experience using Static code scanning solutions and vulnerability remediation, supporting security incident response investigations, and working securely with strict privileged credentials
Basic knowledge of secure systems and network architecture
Experience creating integrations andwith bulk uploads and transform maps
Demonstrated self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems with a focus on customer service
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
