The overall responsibility of the PACS Administrator, Ancillary Systems is to provide functional support, design, instruction, oversight and guidance of the Radiology and Cardiology PACS applications. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing system strategies with management and other stakeholders, conducting business needs analyses, identifying and mitigating project risks, supporting the applications users and assisting in the implementation of Ancillary services application projects. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent business experience, required in clinical or healthcare industry. Minimum Work Experience At least 3 years' experience in using or supporting Radiology or Cardiology PACS that integrates with an inpatient electronic medical record. Expertise in a minimum of two clinical application modules/applications as a super user or IT&S analyst Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Proven ability to understand business and clinical issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions. Proven project manager of medium to large projects of 4-8 team members, with experience managing: Standard work breakdown structure Resources and critical path Project scope Issues identification and oversight Change control processes Possesses understanding in the areas of application configuration and database concepts. Understands Internet, Intranet and client/server architectures. Excellent communication skills. Experience in a Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Ability to travel up to 30%
