Job Description
Title: Cloud Platform Engineer
Duration: 6/12 Months
Remote: Pacific Time Primary Hours

Role Scope / Deliverables:

* Five years of experience with Cloud Platform such as AWS, hands-provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS

* Five years of experience in developing software using languages such as Python or Java.

* Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS

* Ability to use the AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs to write applications

* Ability to use a CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on AWS

* Experience with AWS Data Related Services, which include but not limited to S3, Redshift, Athena, and Glue.

* Experience with AWS Security, which includes but not limited to writing IAM Policies, creating Access keys, and configuring Subnet

* Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)

* Experience with VCE, Github is required.

* Security-first design, HashiCorp Vault is a plus

* Extensive experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering

* Experience with the usage of common application protocols and messages (TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, SMTP, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON)

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or equivalent.
