Location: Shreveport, LA
Travel: 80-100% travel in domestic 48 states
Work Schedule: Must be available to work in the field on assignment for 28 consecutive days; Must be able to work extended hours/weekend, plus overnight stays are necessary
Equipment: Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet. Most vehicles are under six years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
* Assist with rig up/ rig down of nitrogen pumping units and supporting equipment on job site
* Provide ground support to operators running units
* Learn and perform basic maintenance on all equipment
* Communicate with the supervisor regarding progress, obstacles, issues, and process improvement suggestions
* Willing to drive company vehicles to national field locations, operate equipment in all types of weather conditions, and adhere to schedules determined by customers' demand
Are you a MATCH?
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
* Must be able to safely operate a forklift, pickup truck/company car
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
* Basic computer knowledge, i.e. operate cell phones and answer mails
* Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment and diesel engines preferred
* One year of tractor trailer or bulk tanker driving experience within the last four years preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
* Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License with tanker endorsements preferred
* Must obtain a Hazmat Endorsement and TWIC card within 90 days of hire date, if applicable
