Details:

An Associate Scientist job in Thousand Oaks, CA is available through Belcan. In this role you will work under minimal supervision, ensuring that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations, while performing experiments, collecting and organizing data. This is an onsite position with one of our clients leading in the biotechnology industry.

Responsibilities:
* Learn to execute HPLC and LCMS assays per protocol
* Document in electronic lab notebook
* Maintain and troubleshoot equipment
* Learn to validate methods
* Support associated documentation including report writing

Qualifications:
* Bachelors' degree (Biology, Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry) & 1-2 YOE
* Experience in a Biopharmaceutical/Analytical working environment
* Experience in HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) analysis (1+ year of experience)
* HPLC troubleshooting and/or method development (1+ year of experience)
* Experience with Excel
