Northrop Grumman Space Launch and Missile Defense Systems Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer in multiple locations: Huntsville, AL, Morrisville, NC and McLean, VA. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer and product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Well versed in Agile software development and performing collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional scrum teams.
Conducted analyses at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, integration and test, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: This position may be filled at either Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer level:
Systems Engineer: 2 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; 0 year's experience with a Master's Degree Principal Systems Engineer: 5 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; 3 Years with a Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Management of requirements using IBM Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).
Experience with Model-based System engineering and CAMEO
Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
