Role:


As a Sr. Software Engineer, Oracle ERP Cloud, you’re responsible for managing and maintaining complex ERP systems – Oracle Applications Cloud (ERP/SCM/Project Clouds), JD Edwards (JDE) and other systems like Coupa, Avetta Cloud, Dynamics CRM and Business Intelligence Reporting solutions.


You will be involved in the support and maintenance related to design, implementation, testing, and deployment, of Oracle ERP/SCM/Procurement/Finance/Project/Risk Clouds  and  other integrated applications like RecVue, Razor Sight, Dynamics CRM.


 


Responsibilities



  • Define, design, assess and improve the solutions that provide the business capabilities and end-to-end value to users and stakeholders and maximizes end user adoption.

  • Be responsible for translating business requirements/user-stories to technical builds, manage the builds through appropriate development and testing/UAT cycles.

  • Develop/Troubleshoot Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) reports or OTBI analysis/dashboards, infolets and implement distribution mechanisms.  

  • Design, Develop and Fix integrations among applications RecVue, Dynamics CRM, Razor Sight, Fusion Datawarehouse and Oracle ERP Cloud.

  • Provide support with developing, testing and rolling out solutions, bug fixes and enhancements.

  • Troubleshoot and solve incidents reported by users and conduct Problem Management including root cause analysis of design and adoptability problems. 

  • Assist with testing/validation of changes to existing programs or implementation of new programs prior to release to production.

  • Work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds using DevOps or CI/CD concepts.

Education/Certifications  



  • BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline

  • Certifications in Oracle Development Cloud or applications like ERP/Projects/Financial Cloud is preferred

  • PMP or Agile Framework Certification is preferred

 


Experience/Minimum Requirements  



  • Must have 4+ years prior experience with Oracle ERP/SCM Cloud implementation and support.

  • 8+ years of professional experience in on-prem Oracle ERP - E-Business Suite (EBS) or JD Edwards (JDE).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and high-pressure situations.

  • Experience working with customizing the UI using Sandbox, HCM Data Loader (HDL), Business Process Management (BPM) workflows setups.

  • Strong knowledge in PL/SQL, Java, middleware (Informatica/Oracle Integration Cloud - OIC), Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

  • Ability to configure security roles in Oracle Fusion.

  • Experience with technologies, languages, and architectures like Functional Setup Manager (FSM), Application Development Framework Data Integration (ADFDI), File Based Data Import (FBDI), Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) Report development, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Software as a Service / Platform as a Service (SaaS and PaaS), PowerShell Scripts, Smart View, and Fusion Reporting Studio (FRS).
