Our Business:
The Credit Risk Custom Underwriting team is a center of excellence designed to handle custom credit solutions for high net worth individuals. The Underwriting team works in conjunction with Lending Specialists and Credit Executives to provide credit solutions within a diverse portfolio of products and collateral types.

Job Description

The Quality Assurance team identifies risk for Custom Credit Underwriting practices within Wealth Management & Investment Solutions. The QA review is performed to validate the effectiveness of grading and risk analysis as well as adherence to policies, procedures and regulations, where applicable. The QA Reviewer is responsible for analyzing transactions and identifying risks/gaps including determining differences and/or inconsistencies, across various products and global regions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors' degree and previous consumer and commercial lending experience is required. Experience in loan review/audit, wholesale credit approval and/or credit delivery required. Knowledge and understanding of the private client business is preferred.

Experience and Skill Set:


  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 0-3 years experience in Auditing, Accounting, Internal Control and/or Credit Underwriting with focus on Wholesale Credit Risk
  • Knowledge of financial principles and procedures; strong background in the Financial Services Industry
  • Working understanding of credit risks and related controls
  • Ability to follow complex methods and procedures in diverse tasks
  • Experience with Credit Risk infrastructure tools and applications (iCRD, Loan IQ, Connect, etc)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Highest level of professionalism, ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
  • Strong time management, problem solving, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well individually and in teams, share information and support colleagues
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift rapidly
  • Self-motivated and willingness to take ownership of new projects/initiatives
