Act as technical UAT resource proficient in the knowledge of Merchant Services products and services, such as provide expertise knowledge of connectivity options, protocols, formats, and product functionality for Technical Implementations
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test, plan, timeline, and peer script reviews.
Document test case execution, test results and defects in detail.
Communicate testing progress, issues, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders/team and management.
Diagnose, track, and manage testing issues and defects to resolution.
Produce reports on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with explanation of findings.
Continually assess new emerging technologies to optimize operational efficiencies
Continually assess requirements to ensure software integration meets all product and service standards for feature set, connectivity, industry, and regulation standards. Thoroughly analyzes data transmitted to the testing host
Assessing consistent adherence to Policy & Procedures and tracking non-conformance
Proactively identifying potential gaps and implementing controls in place to avoid future occurrences and improve Merchant experience
Partnering with management and Sr. leadership to provide data/details as they relate to necessary coaching and/or corrective action discussions
Schedule and prioritize work and activities to meet target schedule, quality, scope, and cost objectives.
Coordinate dependencies on testing, including, but not limited to, analysis of requirements, establishment of access/permissions, and preparation of environment.
Partnering with management and training to improve understanding, compliance, and execution of policies and procedures
Interfacing with Managers and Sr. Leadership, Specialists, and Business Partners
Often exceeds defined job expectations and meets annual objectives\\Consistently demonstrates and advances knowledge to learn new UAT testing functions, Chase products, and core processing platforms.
Works without supervision and effectively prioritizes work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years' experience in UAT and Product Agile model delivery
Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Experience using HP ALM, Versa Tool, QC and Jira, Confluence
3+ years of experience in Automating test scripts
Extensive experience on various types of testing types such as Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Smoke, User Interface and UAT performance monitoring
Advanced experience with test planning, test execution and defect management
5+ years of software quality assurance/UAT experience with minimum intermediate knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance methodology
5+ years of experience working with developers and project and/or enterprise release managers
Considerable understanding of Agile Methodologies and testing methods (Behavior Driven Development, Test Driven Development, Exploratory)
Resilient skills with collaboration and ability to influence design for testable acceptance criteria
Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills with ability to organize and coordinate testing efforts with Business Users by means of best practices
Flexible, adapt to fast paced software releases while adhering to Controls and ensuring best quality.
Intermediate to advanced skills on MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills as well as effective meeting facilitation skills
Outstanding in-person and virtual team skills are a must while also being able to work independently
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple key projects at the same time
Able to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately
Team player with the willingness to collaborate with other technical and non-technical partners
Experience in the Point of Sale (POS) industry; Proprietary Chase Stratus and Tandem operating systems/applications a strong plus.
Knowledge of technical specifications - in depth understanding of how to read and interpret technical product specifications (transaction and file based specification experience required) a plus
