Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Maintain the integrity of inventory levels through regular cycle counts, physical inventory as well as daily transaction completion per company procedure

Nature of Duties:

• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations


• Inventory and cycle count adjustments into computer database


• Close shop packets received and purge computer database


• Receive and issue finished goods into computer database


• Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel


• Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily


• Notify appropriate personnel when material has expired


• Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights


• Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory


• Assist in training new employees on the inventory process

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience solving complex inventory control issues


• Plus an additional 4 years of manufacturing warehouse experience


• Ability to use many avenues to pursue problem resolution


• Must be dependable


• Must have attention to detail


• High School Diploma
