Performs duties as assigned to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment and fixtures in an industrial environment. Works from blueprints, schematics and/or verbal instructions.

  • Reads and understands blueprints, schematics, and/or verbal instructions.

  • Knowledge of machines and tools to be used in repair and maintenance job tasks.

  • Ability to inspect, examine, and test installed systems.

What You'll Be Doing:


  • Measures, cuts, bends threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit. Pulls wiring through conduit, splices wires by stripping; twists, solders, and applies tape or terminal caps. Connects wiring to fixtures/ and or power equipment.

  • Installs and wires controls and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, motor controllers and PLC equipment.

  • Perform general and preventative maintenance on all electrical systems.

  • Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads.

  • Tests static grounds for continuity.

  • Estimates supplies as authorized.
