Summary of Job Duties:

Duties include overseeing the operation of computer hardware systems, including coordinating and scheduling information technology resources to ensure efficient use; reading instructions to determine equipment to be used, order of use, determining materials needed for project completions; monitoring systems for equipment failure or errors in performance and notifying supervisor or computer maintenance technicians of equipment malfunctions; responding to program error messages by finding and correcting problems; operating spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports; retrieving, separating, and sorting program output, as needed, and sending data to specified users; and performing other duties as assigned.

Assist with management of UAM's:
* Meeting room and classroom technology
* UAM's website
* Blackboard learning management system
* Campus signage

Required skills:
* Experience using Blackboard
* Experience troubleshooting multimedia equipment
* Experience managing websites

Preferred skills:
* Creating accessible digital documents
* Course design experience
* Programming for the web



Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field; plus one year of experience in computer support.Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.Ability to analyze information and evaluate results, to choose the best solution and solve problems.Good written and oral communication skills are required.
