The key responsibilities of this Cloud Architect role would be to:
Design and implement various strategies and development for AWS cloud.
Ensure improvement of all architectural processes within time frame and provide training to all development teams to maintain project deliverables and reduce costs.
Manage all communication with IT and business managers.
Maintain an efficient technical environment and document all architectural plans and provide support to all business and assemble all system components.
Assist in finalization of all systems and provide support when required.
Analyze all requirements and maintain all architecture business systems and documents.
Administer installation and provide support to all documents.
Design various integration programs and prepare required documents for same and implement various integration platforms.
Maintain oversight for all third-party processes.
Analyze metrics and measure effectiveness of programs and return of investment goals.
Assist customer in all integration processes and design various architecture programs for all application layer.

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
An experienced architect with a background in design and development of AWS solutions. Able to design, develop and mentor the developers
A well-organized self-starter able to communicate professionally at all levels, with a good understanding of the business processes involved in an international business. They must enjoy working in a team within a dynamic environment where priorities are changing constantly, and pragmatism is key
Works well with the cross functional team to research and propose solutions to meet the documented requirements, agreeing the most appropriate solution with the local/global users and global IT team

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or related work experience
Self-Starter
Excellent teamwork skills
Should have a good knowledge about the concepts and moving parts involved in continuous integration and continuous delivery
Offer expert guidance to development teams
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Architect level skills with capabilities of self-guided designing and developing cloud solutions
Expert in designing and provisioning large scale enterprise level web and application servers
Architectural capabilities in providing alternatives for private or hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services
Minimum 7 years of Microservices development
Minimum of 3 years of experience in building AWS solutions
Proficient in Containerized Applications lifecycle management tools and resources such as Dockers/Kubernetes
CI/CD and Git experience
Work closely with other Deckers cross functional/technical teams
Must have AWS service experience – S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Cognito, KMS, IAM, WAF, Route 53
Design and development capabilities on React framework are added advantages
Tools and Technologies – AWS, Tomcat, Spring Boot/Spring/Jersey, Oracle Database, Splunk, Datadog, OAuth2, Java
We’d love to hear from people with
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems, Business or similar field of study, or equivalent experience.
Minimum experience of 12 years in software and application development
Minimum 5 years as an architect or equivalent of position in cloud technologies
Should have had multiple implementation experience
Good knowledge of all related Cloud technologies
Exposure to wholesale, retail & ecommerce business models
Fluent in English
