Job Summary: 

Our Security Guard will escort and monitor non-cleared personnel and equipment in a secure government construction site.

Responsibilities: 

• 
  

  Secures premises and staff by monitoring persons and facilities under their purview; inspects buildings, equipment, and access points; permits entry to job site.

  
  


• 
  

  Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers.

  
  


• 
  

  Controls traffic by directing vehicle drivers and equipment operators to job site.

  
  


• 
  

  Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

  
  

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 
  

  Must hold and maintain an active Secret security clearance

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum High School diploma

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to lift 40 lbs

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to read and clearly speak English

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 
  

  Must be dependable, possess emotional control, and operate with integrity

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience in a security field highly desired

  
  


• 
  

  Prior military service desired
