Job Description:

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for the right individual to fill the position of Modelmaker in support of new product development.

The successful candidate will possess an Associates degree in CNC, Tool and Die or possess equivalent experience.

Responsibilities as modelmaker include machining or fabricating parts, assemblies, and prototypes in a timely, safe, and accurate manner utilizing whatever equipment is necessary and available. This may include CNC mill and lathe, wire EDM, or manual machine tools, fabrication, and welding equipment. Will utilize CAD to design tooling and parts as required, providing prints and documentation as requested. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD, parametric modeling, Creo or Pro E preferred.

This is a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment that requires motivation, initiative and a think-on-your-feet stance every day. You will be part of a team and your input on part design, manufacturability, and tool design is valued and expected.

The ability to work safely under stress and maintain professionalism with diverse teams is a must.
