YOUR ROLE
This position reports onsite at the Harley Davidson, Milwaukee facility.
Provide leadership and coaching to direct the activities of the site team (3 locations)
Fulfill all contractual obligations (cost savings, delivery, quality, reporting, etc.) for a given site location
Manage and/or assist in new client ramp-ups
Primary liaison with client site personnel
Champion and delegate site continuous improvement projects
Provide support to client users, ordering group, EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), and Purchasing
Manage and direct all tier two suppliers and their on-site representatives.
Henkel Technologies communication link and technical resource for customer
Must develop and maintain strong rapport with client personnel.
Provide day-to-day customer service, trouble-shooting, and various client team meetings and projects.
Requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to interpret, understand, and assess verbal and nonverbal communication. Face-to-face, phone, and written customer interaction.
Scope management. Ensure the scope of the program is met and kept within the boundaries of the scope.
Assist Program Manager with contract set up and negotiations.
Develop and maintain the operations manual for the program.
Develop and track Key Process Indicators for the program and customer.
Receives guidance and direction from Program Manager, but largely self-directed in most aspects of this function.
YOUR SKILLS
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations, Chemistry, or related field
Two+ years of supervisory experience with proven track record of team achievements
Training and/or experience in negotiating skills
Two+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (engineering, technical sales, management)
Good interpersonal, communications, and documentation skills.
Proficient in standard Windows software (spreadsheet, word processing, graphics) and cursory understanding of mainframe systems
Ability to travel up to 40%
