Two Six Technologies is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Research Engineer to join our team. If you have a desire to perform cutting-edge research on security ramifications of the Internet of Things, lets talk! Responsibilities Include:
Work with the team to automate botnet remediation campaigns on virtualized devices and physical devices provisioned from our IoT lab.
Build test automation using gitlab to leverage range deployments to simulate at-scale botnet mitigation campaigns.
Dig into and reverse engineer the largest and most dangerous botnets on the internet right now to develop mitigation strategies.
Test n-day vulnerabilities on devices targeted by botnets.
A successful candidate would be comfortable coding in python, working with reverse engineering tools (GHIDRA/IDA), and managing a coordinated cyber campaign.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Linux systems, including on embedded devices and with legacy versions
Minimum of 5 years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Linux KVM, Xen, QEmu
Minimum of 3 years experience penetration testing and/or exploitation campaign management experience
Minimum of 3 years experience working with networking concepts including all levels of the OSI Model, network analysis tools such as wireshark, internet-scale networking concepts including recursive DNS and BGP.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related Scientific Domain
Nice to haves:
An advanced degree (Masters or Ph D.) in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related Scientific Domain
Experience with exploitation or implantation frameworks
Experience with C2
An active DoD security clearance
Clearance/Citizenship:
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Active TS security clearance required
